Center No More

Everyone is Welcome Here

Living in LOVE beyond Beliefs

When we begin a contemplative journey, we see this, likely, as the beginning of an ending, the ending, at least on Earth, for us. We do not see this as the beginning of an ending that is, at the same time, a new beginning possible while on Earth. That is, contrary to almost all written in spirituality, East and West, the Center, by whatever we call it, is known and lived from, only in time to fall away, or to dissolve, as it were. Then, one cannot recover the Center. The Center is no more, for it was an experience of Union, which is no more. Union is based on the experience of coming together and being together of what has been experienced as separate, or apart. However, what is it that has never been separate or needing to be united? You come to find there is no Center, for there is no Circumference. Center was a temporary experience, as all experience is temporary. To say the Center is everywhere, as some do, is to say there is no Center. This is the natural fulfillment, or fruition, of the contemplative life, of the spiritual journey. In some sense, we could say, this is God returning to God; yet, this would only be a statement of experience, again. After this falling away, or dissolving, is no more contemplation or contemplative life, no spiritual life. There is, we could say, only life. Possibly, this is one of the most difficult of the surrenderings for those spiritually evolving; however, the one who was joined with the Center cannot give up the Center, only agree to its ending as the Center. The Center naturally falls away. God, then, is not God experientially, in the sense one can no longer envision or know God as was, for that, too, was an experience.
